At Wesley, we support many missions. Here are a few:
House of Hope Minnesota Many members of the Wesley family have been instrumental in bringing the dream of House of Hope Minnesota to life. Learn more about House of Hope Minnesota by visiting their website: www.houseofhopeminnesota.org. Habitat for Humanity Lyon County Habitat has just completed the house at Fourth & Bruce Streets. If you would like to help with building the next house please contact us about joining the building committee. To volunteer, call 507-537-2687 Or e-mail john.docken@ifsonline.com The Heifer Project is a Church and Sunday School Mission. This is an international mission providing specific individual families with animals for food, trade, livestock and farming. The family agrees to give the first born stock of the animal back to the Heifer project so that another family can be helped. Red Bird Mission through the United Methodist Women, is funded by collecting Campbell's and Franco-American labels along with Betty Crocker Cents for Education and by financial support. Matthew 25 is hosted at Wesley on the 4th Saturday of each month. This is a time when the needy of the Marshall area can come to receive two grocery bags of food free of charge with no income guideline. Sponsors provide the necessary monies for the truck to come from St. Paul Evangelistic Food Shelf. The United Methodist Conference has several additional ways of sharing God’s gifts.
