!! Wesley Members and Parents Events Reminder !!
Next Sunday, November 23 ALL Wesley children Pre K – grade 6 are being asked to join together and sing at the 10:30 service. This special effort - for our Wesley family - is to bring joy and enjoyment to all who love hearing our younger family members share their Voices in celebrating our Holy Father. Will you make an effort to have your child/children available to participate next Sunday? All amazing voices are needed, and we Thank You in advance for helping your child/children share their gift of music in worship! Final practice will be held during Sunday school on the 23, so it’s not too late for your child/children to be involved.
The Annual Wesley Christmas Program practice will begin next Sunday also. It is very important we know whether or not your child/children will be able to make practice regularly (for the next 4 Sunday’s), and will participate in the program on Sunday, December 14. When assigned a part, it is critical we know we can count on YOU to help support involvement and encouragement as the children prepare for this important event. Remember when you had the honor to be a part of the treasured tradition of the Church Christmas Program? There was the excitement of learning your part, the delight of knowing you were ready, the butterflies right before going on stage, the sheer joy and relief when it was all done, and then the hugs, kisses, high fives, or pats on the back from those you love so much for having been their shining star! Pass this tradition on to your child/children; allow them to be your shining star(s).
Now that you know the date (be watching for the time SOON), mark it on the calendar, start asking important people in your children’s lives to set that date aside so they too will be able to share in this precious experience. Together, we can build confidence, teach the true spirit of the season and offer some children the only chance they may have this year to be center stage.
These upcoming efforts will be IMPOSSIBLE without the support and commitment of everyone!! Children come and sing, Wesley family members come and listen, bring a friend, bring two – we will all be truly blessed!
